¿Qué es el premio AlfaCare?
The AlfaCare prize award is for a passionate early career sports physical therapist to assist them in attending the World Congress of Sports Physical Therapy.
¿Quién es AlfaCare?
AlfaCare es un proveedor de equipos clínicos y otros productos para prevenir y aliviar el dolor muscular y articular y las lesiones deportivas. El objetivo del premio
Early career individuals often find it a challenge to gain funding to attend a world-class congress such as the World Congress of Sports Physical Therapy. However, these individuals are the future of sports physical therapy, and the IFSPT and AlfaCare recognize the need to assist them in the development of their career in sports physical therapy, as well as create ambassadors for the field. The 1000€ prize will help the chosen individual attend the World Congress of Sports Physical Therapy, then return to their member organization and share the knowledge they obtained with their peers.
The winner will also be encouraged to attend a later WCSPT and speak about their experience and how it has impacted their practice as well as how it has helped their member organization.
Criterios de elegibilidad
- Graduado y con licencia de fisioterapeuta en su país miembro durante siete años o menos
- Al menos dos años de experiencia en la práctica de la fisioterapia deportiva
- Un miembro actual en regla de su organización miembro de la IFSPT
- Buenas habilidades de comunicación
- Se valorará la capacidad de presentación demostrada
Proceso
- Proporcione una carta de presentación (máximo 1 página) para explicar su plan de traducción de conocimientos a su regreso de Dinamarca, cómo cree que la experiencia le beneficiará, y para destacar su experiencia previa en presentaciones
- Proporcionar un currículum vitae (CV) completo para su revisión (incluyendo fechas de graduación, prueba de pertenencia a la organización miembro de la IFSPT y ejemplos de experiencia en el campo de la fisioterapia deportiva)
Evaluación
Los concursantes serán calificados por su currículum vitae, así como por su plan de traducción de conocimientos.
Premio
The award winner will be publicly honored at the Gala of the World Congress of Sports Physical Therapy by representatives from AlfaCare and IFSPT.
Después de la adjudicación
The IFSPT Research committee expects to receive a written report following knowledge translation from the winner. This will be shared with all member organizations via the newsletter and during an IFSPT networking session.
